John Crowder is offering a one-day Web Event live through Zoom October 26, 2024. Worldwide Time Zone Friendly (see schedule below).
We are created for communion. There are no private spiritualities, but a common life as the church. The task of the church is to shine the light of Christ as a sacrament of Him in this world. But there is no idealized church that is not messy ... no slick, perfect social club that has its act together. The Lord knows we are in process. We are growing into the holy people that He says we already are.
Nevertheless, many have been wounded, displaced or cannot seem to find a "home" that is not toxic, stifling or even abusive. How do we live as the "church in exile" when so many are disillusioned by institutions and congregations that lack Gospel clarity? When division runs rampant? How do we even define the church?
Spend a day with John Crowder over two live sessions, with interactive questions and discussions about a topic that is more important than ever today:
